• Geci Karuri presents at IPS Finland 20th Anniversary Celebration Seminar
• SA Node co-chair Geci Karuri was invited to give a keynote presentation on Africa's Development Future: Signposts and Hopes for the New Millennium at the Finnish Inter Press Service's 20th Anniversary Celebration in Helsinki.

South Africa successfully participated in the Millennium Project Future Ethical Issues Study, an international Delphi survey to identify the most important future ethical issues that humanity may face in the future. The results will be published in the 2005 State of the Future Report.
